Kuch Kuch is a revolutionary cocktail bar in Malta, seamlessly blending Indian culture with contemporary Western aesthetics. Offering a unique experience, Kuch Kuch brings innovation to the local market with expertly crafted cocktails that take guests on an unforgettable journey through the art of liquid cuisine. Every detail, from the bar to the serving style, is meticulously designed, promising a fresh and exciting experience for both locals and tourists alike. Nero Whyte was responsible for all branding and marketing activities, ensuring that Kuch Kuch stood out in a competitive landscape.

The Mission

The challenge was to build a brand from the ground up. Our team was entrusted with developing the concept and brand story, crafting a compelling name, defining a robust brand strategy, designing the brand identity, and formulating effective marketing strategies and tactics. This included a tease and launch campaign, along with ongoing social media content creation to ensure Kuch Kuch stands out in a competitive market.

The Moves

We began with a thorough brand strategy, leading to the naming process, which set the stage for a distinctive brand identity. A strong commitment to defining Kuch Kuch in both local and international markets informed our visual identity design, allowing us to effectively differentiate the brand and evoke feelings of rebellion and fun.

Once the brand identity was established, we shifted our focus to executing the marketing campaign. The initial tease campaign, titled “Leaked Secrets,” utilised both digital and out-of-home (OOH) strategies to spark curiosity and deepen the storytelling experience. This was followed by the launch campaign, “Unlocked,” which revealed the vibrant essence of Kuch Kuch through short-form video content shared across META platforms and TikTok. Consistent content planning ensured ongoing engagement, with a focus on producing compelling branded content to reach viral potential.

The Results
Within just two months of opening, Kuch Kuch emerged as the premier destination in Malta for specialised cocktails, captivating guests with its unparalleled experience. Our social media efforts yielded impressive results, with the Kuch Kuch Instagram account reaching 125,000 users and garnering over 3,000 followers from July to September 2024. Daily activity through our branded content and an overwhelming response from user-generated content played a crucial role in establishing social proof and fostering positive associations with the Kuch Kuch brand. The unique combination of innovative cocktails and a vibrant atmosphere has truly transported guests to a new realm of enjoyment. This success can be attributed not only to the enticing offerings of Kuch Kuch but also to the intentional and strategic branding and marketing approaches implemented by Nero Whyte, effectively reaching the audience that matters while evoking emotion at every brand touchpoint.
